My Unforgottable Holiday

Some of you must be have interesting things to tell and in course of you had a pleasant experience even not forgotten. This time I had an unforgottable holiday. My unforgottable holiday was when I visited Borrobudur temple and Parangtritis beach. It was about two month ago, I followed one Campus Organization called MUEC ( Muhammadiyah University of English Course).

Firstly, in the sunny Sunday morning we started our trip to go to Borrobudur with other friends from MUEC. It just took about two hours from Muhammadiyah University by bus. After two hours long in the bus, finally we arrived at the first destination, Borobudur temple. We were amazed with this tremendous temple. Also we wondered how come the ancient people could build this gigantic temple without any modern tools. Then we climbed this temple up to the top. It was really exhausting. But when we reached the top, the scenery was incredibly magnificent. We could see Prambanan temple near Borobudur and other beautiful sceneries. Beside that, we were amazed with its carvings on the wall.

 I had funny experience with my team. We got assignment from MUEC. We  had to find some foreigners to talk. Actually I was afraid but I must be brave, because I want to know my english ability. After a while I found one foreigners from Canada I tried to practice my english with her. She said indonesia is one of  beautiful country in the world. There were only few tourists that we met. They were all from Australia. So, we agreed to practice our English ability with them. Although we stuttered and stumbled in the conversation, we could still understand the points. This was truly amazing. Then we took many lovely pictures there with them.

Next, we went to our next destination, that was Parangtritis beach. This beach was still natural and less pollution. We were very happy because member of MUEC made games that was great. We have to brought gravel above the feet while walking. It was very difficult, but very challenged. Although my group lose, but we were very enthusiastic. The most important of the game is the cohesiveness of a team. After that, we were playing on the seashore till we were tired.

After spending so much time in the Borrobudur temple, and Parangtritis beach. We prepared to go home. At 9.00 p.m. we arrived at home safely. I got so many beautiful experiences there. I got a lot of new friends, I got a outstanding opportunity with foreigners, and this was a holiday that will not be forgotten forever.

The Unhealthy Fast Food

Fast food nowadays is considered a normal eating venture. People are not just eating out on special occasions or weekends anymore. It means that all the time they mostly eat fast foods. However is fast food good for health?

Fast food has its popularity in the 1940’s. Within a few years, fast-food operations popped up everywhere. With the compelling rise in fast-food restaurants since the 1940’s, oddly it started the rise in obesity and cancer during that same time period.

Fast food is highly processed with a wide array of additives. To ensure fast food’s low cost, the fast food products are made with highly-processed ingredients to give it shelf-life, to hold consistency, and to enhance flavor. Fast food is altered from its original healthy form.

     It is not the calories in fast food which damage health and waistline. It is the chemical additives such as aspartame and MSG (monosodium glutamate). Studies show that the chemical additives lead to weight and disease issues.

So, there is absolutely nothing nutritional about fast food. Fast food simply feeds hunger and craving.

My Best Friend

I have a best friend,Her full name is Nurhayani and her call name is Yani. She lives in Solo. The town where she grow up is in Sukoharjo.She was born in Medan, on February 8th , 1995. Now, she is 18 years old.

Yani has a tall body, but she is tin. She has black hair and wavy. It is usually covered by a veil. She has a pointed nose and white skin. She also has a pair of black eyes.

Yani has the same hobby with me. She like watching movies, but she doesn’t like all type of movies. When I took her to watching horror movies she refused because she doesn’t like horror movies.

She is a smart students. After she finished studying in the School, she went to the Library. She always responsible with her study, and she try to be disciplined with her time. Yani goes to my house every week, so we are study together.When she bored in her house, She spent at the times in My house. She is friendly, active in all of school activities, and always defends the truth. She is also confident at every opportunity. I hope our friendship will be long and won't ever end.
